This item is of high quality however, the functionality is not as good as what was anticipated. The Towel continually slips off unless you take extra effort to make sure it stays put. Perhaps this would have worked better if the upward prong was not rounded on top? Have seen others that work much better that are not rounded on top. Should have returned and ordered another model put didn't feel like making the effort.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The robe hook was large enough for my very thick terry robe, as well as very attractive for our bathroom....my husband is not the "handy-man type" and he hung it in no time!
