Along with a wall-hung matching cabinet, I ordered this linen tower and it took nearly a month for me to finally open the package and pull it out to put together. I was pleased with the dark brown, almost black finish and there were no dents or marks. All was packaged well, no broken glass, all the attachments were included and even the instructions were pretty simple to follow. It helps to have someone help you put it together though so ask someone to stand by with a flashlight because the finish is very dark and it's hard to see the many screw holes and get them lined up. All the holes fit together well and I was surprised to see how sturdy it is once it was screwed and glued together. I wouldn't sit on it or load it with heavy items. The shelf seems a bit flimsy but I only intend to store towels in it and the small drawer will be useful for the items that invariably clutter up anyone's bathroom. The hardware, by the way, has a shiny chrome finish - not my first choice - but it has a magnetic clasp and the knob has a spring that keeps it closed. For the $$, I believe this was a good buy.

Is it a piece of fine furniture? no, but it works perfectly in our newly renovated bathroom.
