Overview

This Bean-Style Handle with Rim Latch is available in either a rough iron type similar to ironwork found in old European buildings, or in a smooth iron finish reminiscent of Early American ironwork. Handle and latch are suitable for interior or light exterior doors between 7/8" and 1¾" thick.

Different rim latch types also available for inward-opening doors or outward-opening doors. Most interior room and hallway doors are inward-opening. Closet doors and storm doors are outward-opening, and require a reverse-bevel box strike for the rim latch.

acorn rocks!

I have an antique Connecticut home and needed to upgrade the hardware on the storm doors. I decided to match the hardware with the door hardware inside the home and absolutely love the Acorn Bean-Style Handle with Rim Latches that we bought. I plan to replace some of the hardware in the 'newer' part of our home with this excellent hardware.
